How it works
FROM ADDRESS TO POSTED PLAN TO STORM-DAY TEXT
The legend
- 01You send the address and a floor sketch. Pick the layout in the planner or upload a phone photo of the unit layout after you save.
- 02We draw the placard. Floor plan exits, your county zone, the route to the nearest usable shelter, and the guest guide page behind the QR.
- 03We match your local rule. The plan is checked against your city or county's rental ordinance.
- 04A safety reviewer signs it off. Route, shelter, ordinance items and disclaimer are checked by a person, who is named on the record with the date.
- 05You print and post it. Or we ship it laminated.
- 06We keep the data fresh, county by county. Zones from the official state or county zone layer (FDEM in Florida, Know Your Zone in North Carolina). Shelters from the county pre-season list, then FEMA's Open Shelters feed on storm day, refreshed every 20 minutes. Every county is re-checked each May and whenever an order is issued, and each map prints its source and check date.
- 07Storm day, we message your booked guests. When an official order covers your zone, the alert is drafted, checked by a person, then sent.
